I am your servant.
A warm welcome to you. I hope you find something
here at the site that will give you encouragement and peace and
help you to flourish as you live out this wonderful gift of life
that our loving Father has given us in Christ Jesus. This site was
created to give my friends a chance to get to know me a bit better.
My Prayer for us all:
The greatest desire of my life is to see
God's people blessed through the deep, careful, yet intensive study
of His Word. My hope is that in a spirit of gentleness and love,
we can gather around the feast of God's truths. The following is
my sincere prayer for us:
"May I respect you and may I love you
in the very place God has set you. With Godly gentleness and peace,
may we unite around His truth. May we allow His Word to be, as it
is, as He intended. May we agree that our opinions are far too poorly
dressed for such a sumptuous feast."
"A Statement is Either
True... or..."
I often say that "a statement is either
true, or... (pause) not true." What I mean is that regardless
of what someone tells us they believe, or the reasons why, we can
rest in the knowledge that their statement is either true, or...
not true. With this approach, we don't need to get upset or frustrated
when someone doesn't see things the way we see them.
My teaching style rests upon the above premise.
When people ask me what I believe about this or that, I simply ask
them to restate the question. I would rather they ask, "what
does the Bible say about this or that."
I encourage you to hold yourself and everyone
who claims to be a follower of Christ, to the highest standards
when it comes to handling God's Word. Our loving Father has miraculously
preserved His Word for us to feast on and it pains my heart to see
it mishandled.
I've published this site to give you and
me the opportunity to get to know each other a bit better. "Mi
Casa es Su Casa." (My house is your house).
To God be the Glory in the Church, forever and
ever. Amen.
